How are you all? The weather is getting better, and I've actually been able to go down the park to practice my juggling! Huzzah. I'm not doing too bad and can now manage three balls to some degree of skill, and am twirling my poi quite nicely, although I so need to practice not banging my legs when I want to stop. The devil sticks are stupidly hard, so I'm leaving them until I can get the poi sorted or my head will go boom.
So what have I been up to? Well, me and Matt went to Doncaster races last week. We won £5.40 which was enough to get a Burger King on the way home. It's class all the way up here in the north. Speaking of which, I have been seriously considering moving back down to London, as both me and Matt have seen basically what could only be described as our ideal jobs. I have been wanting to get into publishing for years, and now an opportunity has arisen I am going for it. Even if I don't get the job, we are planning on getting out of Sheffield, there are just no prospects here and now I'm unemployed I have the perfect opportunity to start something new. It's a shame really as I was hoping we'd have found somewhere to settle by now, but that's the way the cooky crumbles in the dreaded 'credit crunch'. Anyhoo, wish me luck as if I did land this job I'd be the happiest bunny in the world...I just keep thinking 'books' I could have a job with books, and go all glassy eyed.
Speaking of which, The Vampire's Daughter, sequal to TAOV is still at an agents. I am waiting to hear back from them, so will let you all know what comes of that. Only good things I hope. I am desperate to get part two out there, and I know there are plenty of people wanting it to be published, so please bare with me...I am doing my bestest.
I haven't opened myself up for comissions because of one very simple fact: I'm finally working on my comics again. If I deviate or do anything else I will stop again. So, for now, I am gonna see how much comic work I can get done, and then possibly think about doing some pics for people. Hope that's okay but I know myself only too well.
Right, well better get back to the grind. I'm off to see Metallica at the Arena this weekend, so at least that's something to look forward too. *rocks* I hope everyone is doing well and I will update again soon. If you haven't seen the pics in my scraps, take a look, just some more randomness I added.
ALSO: MY ARTIST OF THE MONTH is my good friend Snowcrashed
Take care all!
