This is a picture of Elias Darkley from my book The Amulet of Vichalace. We don't really get to see him as he would have done when he was alive- apart from the brief part in the opening scene where he is fighting Ashworth.

Anyway, this is what I think a young Elias might have looked like in his old fashioned garb. He wasn't very rich, but nor was he a pauper, so his clothes, although fancy looking to us are actually quite plain and simple for the time- although he is wearing Vichalace of course ;)
I plan on going into a lot more about the Darkley family and why they came to inherit Vichalace, and more importantly what the amulet actually is and who created it, in later books, probably 3 and 4. But for now, enjoy our hero acually looking realatively normal for once... although there is something about a guy with wings and tail that is rather attractive too ;) heh!
Enjoy!

King Arthur: You'll what?

King Arthur: What are you gonna do, bleed on me?
Black Knight: I'm invincible!
King Arthur: ...You're a loony.

Ooh I love the outfit... I WANT that coat lol.
I can't quite figure it out - how do you pronounce his name?

:iconzoestead:
You can pronounce it either El-ee-ass - which is my preffered way of saying it and correct as far as the book's concerned, or El-eye-ass which is somethimes used as well.
Glad you like the coat, I have a book full of period costumes and used it as a reference.

Thanks, I've been pronouncing it as sort of a mixture of the two lol.
Sounds like an interesting book, i always think pictures look better with some form of reference, even if it's just the memory of how something should look...
