Trace

Bit of a strange picture this. I was sat writing a few ideas down for some new characters and a bit of a story formed. I wrote a few scenes and these guys came out of it. The two in the background are actually the main characters, but I kinda fell in love with this guy, who is called Trace. He's completely human but dresses in a mask and has a special cloak which enables him to glide short distances, hence his nickname 'Dragon'. He's a lone merc who has joined the same warband as Seg, who is stood behind him with L'vanda, who Seg kidnapped and made his 'pupil' of sorts until he can ransom her back to her rich parents...except it turns out she's as good a fighter as he is and has taken exception to everything he's done. L'vanda becomes friends with Trace as they feel like they were forced into the warband by nefarious means and want to find a way out. Trace is a skilled metalsmith and can make very fine mechanisms and devices for use in weapons. He cannot make swords and axes but things like tiny exploding silver insects or poisoned hatpins, and gets annoyed when people think the only thing that can be done with metal is beat it to within an inch of its life and make a hulking great sword. I have drawn Seg and L'vanda so expect some pics of them soon too. They hate each other and I always like characters who don't get along but have to for the sake of their own wellbeing.
