Belle of the Vampire's Ball

This has taken me ages to colour and add all the detail to, but I hope you all think it's worth it. This is a picture of Celeste wearing a dress that I designed for her, for a scene to come in a subsequent book- maybe the next or third- where she has to go to a vampire's masquerade ball.
Getting the right colours has taken me ages, as I just wasn't happy when I did it in blue, as I originally planned. I think Cel's just like me, and just suits dark reds better. I do think she's pretty in that pose, and looking all confident too! Go Cel!

I think Flethcer would be rather pleased seeing her in this dress!!! In fact I think all the male characters would be happy, although her father may tell her to wrap up warm so as not to get a chill, but then what can you expect from overprotective vampires? Heh heh.

Oh yes, those flowers and the lace decorations took seriously ages to draw on, and half way through I wasn't sure about them, but now it's all finished I have to say I like it. The mask was fun to design too!
